Day1. Transfer from Kampala -Murchison Falls Park
Enjoy an early breakfast at your hotel and get prepared for pick-up for a trip to Murchison Fall national park passing through the flat areas of Nakasongala as you will make a stopover in Masindi town for lunch. Proceed to Murchison falls park where you will be welcomed by baboons, warthogs and other wildlife animals. You will be driven to the top of falls where you can get a spectacular view of the mighty Nile waters. Check in at Red chili lodge for dinner and overnight stay
Day2. Early morning Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Nile
You will wake up very early in the morning to go for a morning game drive where you will have a chance to spot early risers and nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. Arrive at the Nile just in time to board the ferry crossing to the northern section. A game drive through the park offers opportunities to encounter small and big game including huge herds of buffaloes, elephants, lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, waterbucks, antelopes, hyenas, Uganda Kobs plus lots of birds. This is the most beautiful national park in Uganda and this is because it host 4/5 of the big 5 animals and also it also host one of the beautiful and powerful falls in the country and it’s from this back ground that Winston Churchill named Uganda the “pearl of Africa”. After the game drive, you head back to the lodge for lunch as you will relax or take a short nap because you have to catch the boat at 14:00hrs. Or we can also pack our lunch to save time and enjoy our drives.
After eating your packed lunch from the lodge, you go for a launch cruise to the bottom of the falls where you will spot lots animals and birds resting and drinking water along the shores of the Nile. Expect to see lots of hippos, buffaloes, Nile crocodiles plus birds like African fish eagle, Yellow billed stork, Egyptian goose, Egrets, Malachite kingfisher among others. The launch cruise will take you close to the falls’ base where you will be shown the spot where Ernest Hemingway’s plane crashed during sightseeing tour to Murchison falls in 1954.
After the cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay at Red chili lodge
Day 3: Drive back to Kampala/ Air port
After the morning breakfast at the lodge, you will hit the road back to kampala and your guide will drop you off at the hotel or airport depending the time of your flight
